 Location Coastal Retreats apartments are located in the popular coastal village of Stoke Fleming, a traditional village overlooking stunning Start Bay. The village shop & post office has fresh organic bread daily, & locally supplied vegetables, meat & dairy. There is also a petrol garage with a shop on the outskirts of the village. The Southwest coastpath runs right past both of our properties (www.southwestcoastpath.com) and the popular blue flag Blackpool Sands beach is less than a mile down the hill. (www.blackpoolsands.co.uk). Dartmouth is a short 2 mile drive away, or a beautiful 45 minute walk along the Southwest coastpath. Dartmouth is a picturesque deepwater port at the mouth of the River Dart, and is world renowned for its sailing. The ancient, narrow streets house some excellent boutique shops, art galleries & delicatessens. The newly renovated cobbled market place features stalls and regular farmers markets supplying local produce all used by Dartmouth's many gourmet restaurants, pubs & cafes.
