Coastal Retreats Devon are privately owned holiday properties with a difference. Beautifully furnished in a contemporary coastal style they are a haven of calm colours, with design touches & attention to detail to make your stay memorable.
Top Deck is a one-bedroomed barn conversion that has been transformed into a stylish open-plan retreat with vaulted ceiling and original beams. It can sleep up to 4 people (including sofabed). Top Deck has its own private entrance, into a compact but well-equipped handbuilt kitchen with travertine floor, underfloor heating, handpainted units and solid birch worktops. The Kitchen is fully equipped with quality crockery and cookware, built in stainless steel oven with hob over, toaster ,kettle and fridge with ice box. From the kitchen you go up a straight flight of stairs into the open plan living area with vaulted ceiling, double sofabed, comfy armchairs, flat screen wall mounted 32" LCD TV, DVD player, ipod docking station, & handpainted chest. There is a spacious dining area with solid oak table & 4 contemporary chairs, oversized pendant lights and opening double doors onto a first floor outside decking area ideal for alfresco dining with bar-b-q and patio furniture. There is a double bedroom with vaulted beam ceiling, cream painted cast iron bed, goose down duvet, White Company bedlinen, and 2 bedside tables with reading lamps. The spacious shower room has travertine flooring, chrome heated towel rail, and a large shower cubicle with electric shower. An allocated private parking space is available nearby.
Waves is a large duplex apartment that sleeps up to 7 (including sofabed). You enter the building through a marble tiled communal hallway with entryphone. On the first floor you enter the apartment through its private entrance into a hallway, with WC. There is a light, spacious open plan living/dining space, with large sofabed, armchair, dining table and 5 dining chairs. The modern fully fitted kitchen is extremely well equipped with large fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, blender, kettle and toaster. From here you can walk out onto the spacious roof terrace with Bar-B-Q, table & chairs and deckchairs. On the 2nd floor there are two bedrooms (1 with King-size bed & 1 with bunks & a single bed) and a bathroom, all with sea views. This welcoming family-friendly apartment has been designed and decorated to an extremely high standard in a Coastal/New England theme, with sea-washed white colours. It offers very well appointed accommodation, including LCD TVs (sitting room & master bedroom), a DVD & video player, a Wii console and wireless broadband. There are plenty of games, DVD's, videos, books and magazines for when you just want to stay home and relax. There is an allocated parking space with the apartment in a prviate car-park adjacent to the building.
Both of our apartments are extremely child-friendly, and we offer high chairs and travel cots free of charge. We can also offer other baby equipment e.g. steriliser, changing mat, potty etc on request.
